2014 John Moore Road, Stanley Cup Finals (Steiner)

This is John Moore's 2014 Stanley Cup Finals road sweater.  Johnny Moore played one game (game 2) in this sweater on the road in Los Angeles and had 19:07 of ice time in the contest.  He sat out of Gm 1 serving his suspension for the hit on Montreal's Dale Weise in Eastern Conference Finals and kept his Game 5  road sweater for himself..  John Moore was very solid defensively in the Finals but did not factor on the score sheet in Game 2..  The jersey exhibits some light stick marks on the chest and a small board burn on the left sleeve.. These NY Rangers Finals jerseys were swept up by NYR collectors very quickly and will disappear into collections..

2007-08 Dan Girardi Leetch Night 3rd Period (MeiGray)

This is Dan Girardi's game worn sweater from Brian Leetch night on January 24th, 2008 at Madison Square Garden in New York.  This home blue sweater was worn by Girardi in the 3rd period of the game vs. the Atlanta Thrashers. The Rangers beat the Thrashers in a shootout 2-1.  This G sweater shows very light use as would be expected from a sweater only worn in one period.  The sweater is a great early example of the original Reebok Edge 1.0 that was abandoned by all teams for the ultra fill material.  The Rangers equipment staff also hemmed the early Edge sweater to give it a neater look on the ice. G logged 19:47 of ice time in the game and took 26 shifts not registering any points in the game.  The sweater is registered to the MeiGray authentication system and has the set tag in the hem. Also the fight strap has the number "3" written on it which indicates that it was worn in the 3rd period. Girardi has also signed the number 5 on the back of the sweater with a black sharpie.

1985-86 Bob Brooke Road jersey (MeiGray Vintage)

This is Bob Brooke's 1985-86 road sweater with the beautiful diagonal "New York" style on the front.. Dozens of team repairs, stick marks, paint transfer.. A true classic of a very good Ranger while he was on my beloved team.  During the 1985-86 regular season Brooke scored 24 goals and added 20 assists for 44 points and was an instrumental part of the Rangers run to the Wales Conference finals 6 goals and 9 assists for 15 points in 16 games.  He had a memorable OT winner at Madison Square Garden vs. Washington Capitals in round 2 and scored memorable goals against the Philadelphia Flyers in round 1.
Thanks to Barry Meisel at the MeiGray Group for helping me obtain this great sweater.

2001-02 Martin Rucinsky Set 1 Road with 9/11 Commemorative Patch (MeiGray)

2001-02 Martin Rucinsky with 9/11 patch.. Nice board burns, pilling and team repair on left elbow.. Great sweater from this season.. A wonderful, historical sweater with a lot of sentimental value to me as a NYer and an American... The Rangers honored all of the victims of the 9/11 tragedy with the ribbon on the left sleeve..

Rucinsky came to the NY Rangers from the Dallas Stars on 3/12/02 and played 8 games in this sweater scoring 3 goals and 7 assists... The jersey has been photo matched to a game against the Florida Panthers on 3/30/02
